The NEW MOON SINGERS present an evening of song, dance and storytelling in traditional attire.
Bonjour Aannii Wachay
The New Moon Singers are a drum group comprised of family and friends. They are an Indigenous group who offers drumming, songs, dance and ceremonies in our community. The group consists of 1st lead Sarah Rodrique, 2nd lead Sharley Rodrique, 3rd lead Trish Clement, and 4th head lead singer Holly Rodrique.
"Through song dance and ceremonies this helps to connect us to Creator. We honor Mother Earth and all that is in it. The red road is a spiritual walk and we as Indigenous people are finding our way back to our traditional ways through our Vibrant culture. We say Meegwetch to Creator to be able to share our ways in the community and surrounding areas."
For what we know we do not own...
And what we do not own we must share...
So lets share...
